Welcome to The Custom Classroom, the studio-turned-classroom in our 110-year-old schoolroom where creatives can dive in and learn exactly what they want, in a space designed for hands-on exploration and growth.

This is a build-your-own learning experience where you’ll choose from our list of topics to craft the perfect session for your brand or your team. Think of it like building your ideal school schedule; pick the subjects you’re excited about and leave out the ones that you’re not.

  • This is an offering for anyone wanting to learn a new creative skill. It’s ideal for business owners who want to learn how to capture or create for their business since it’s not always in the budget to outsource that work. Some of the folks that have invested in learning from us in the past have been: photographers, wedding planners, florists, small business owners, artists, graphic designers, social media managers, and more.

  • When you express interest in signing up, we’ll start with a consultation phone call to get to know your needs, goals, and interests. From there, I’ll design a custom roadmap tailored specifically to you. Depending on the depth and variety of topics you’d like to cover, your Custom Classroom may last anywhere from 1-4 days. Once you’re enrolled, you’ll receive this roadmap so you know exactly what to expect and how our time together will unfold.

  • Enrollment for The Custom Classroom is open during set windows throughout the year. Each enrollment window lasts about 6 weeks, and during that time you can reserve your spot. The actual date of your Custom Classroom time does not need to happen within that 6 week window— it will be scheduled for a date that works for all parties.

  • Right now, The Custom Classroom is an in-person offering. Our Houston, Texas studio is the home base, but depending on what you’d like to learn, we may be traveling around the Houston area to accommodate your list of topics you’ll be learning.

  • It will depend all upon your roadmap that we create together, and what you’d like to include in your learning session. We can plan it during a slow time of year for you, or we can plan it before you have an event where you’d like to utilize your new skills. The sooner you reach out, the better we can help you to plan all of the details for our time together.

  • Yes indeed. 30% is required to reserve your spot, and 2 additional payments of 35% each are made before your Custom Classroom time. If you’d like to sign up and it’s more feasible for you to make more payments that are smaller versus fewer payments that are larger, please reach out.
