Blessing truly couldn’t have brought a more gracious, joyful, and luminous energy to the Lightbulb League photo studio for her Houston brand photo session.

As many professional creatives can attest to, our early days choosing to take our talents professional, usually starts small; with friends, family members, and neighbors. Those closest to us who can personally recognize our talents and put it to use in their own lives. This is exactly how Blessing’s beginning in events + decor started. She found a love for bringing joyful balloon installs to parties and gatherings for friends and family, and it grew into Blessings by B, a Houston events company.

Now that Blessing had a small business to promote, she knew she needed to invest in brand photography to highlight her hard work and personal style to use in marketing. She reached out to Lightbulb League wanting elevated brand photography. She also had an interest in our iPhone videography offering, wanting to make a promotional voiceover video she could use once she launched her brand.

We planned her session over a few phone calls and emails, and landed on 2 different ‘setups’ for her session: a balloon backdrop, which would be setup the day prior to her session, and a party tablescape, to show that she also offers styling services beyond balloons. Both seetups would be in her brand color palette: blues, purples, and pinks.

One the day of her session, we were blown away by how incredibly photogenic Blessing was. Not a bad photo was taken, truly. It was such a fun session and we love how her brand imagery turned out! Check out some faves from her session below.
