Cherir | Houston Brand Photos

February 1, 2021

We were so lucky to work with Houston entrepreneur China Contreras on her recently launched brand, Cherir. We photographed headshots for China, along with product photos for the Cherir website.

The following is from the Cherir website:

Chérir was founded because one of life’s greatest joys is to feel cherished. We provide a convenient yet elegant and compelling way to share that feeling with a friend or loved one. Rest assured that we put an incredible amount of thought into curating every box. Each piece is hand-selected for its unique story, emotional resonance, and expert craftsmanship. We are inspired daily by the stories of our designers, and hope you will be, too!

We think everything about this idea that China has produced is so special- from the packaging, to the handpicked products, to the experience.

Houston Brand Photos for Cherir

Here are some of our favorites from the brand photo shoot with Cherir. China wanted a minimal & understated set of photos with an elevated look. Step one was to approach the actual products she sells. Cherir offers 6 different boxes with a loose theme. The themes are Cherished, Beautiful Mama, Gratitude, Simplicity, Sweetheart, and Vacation ready- each with 4 unique and beautiful handcrafted products made by women who have their own creative small businesses.

The second part of her brand photos were branded headshots. The wardrobe was minimal in style in a white setting to match the brand and product photos. The hair and makeup team did such a great job making sure China was fresh-faced with naturally styled hair.

From the branded headshots to the styled product photos, China now has a cohesive gallery to use for marketing purposes.

If you’re looking for a Houston brand photographer to capture brand photos for your small business, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to help, and our spring calendar is filling up!

PS- we still have a few openings for brand mini sessions in 3 weeks. Snag a spot before they’re all gone!
