Brand Photos with Pressed Paper

Brand photos with Pressed Paper and Emma Natter

These brand photos with Pressed Paper was one of the first brand shoots I did. I was so excited when I was contacted by Emma, who had been working with Sharon Kopko of Pressed Paper for months. The quality product was there, Sharon was just trying to refine her online presence. Emma thought a great way to do that was have a brand shoot to show off Sharon’s paper skills, the finished product, and something that is the most important to her; family.

Day of the shoot

I arrived in New Braunfels, Texas for the shoot. We got right to work! Emma styled the scene while Sharon’s husband John worked hard on a meal for everyone. Since Sharon wanted to incorporate family, her brother and sister-in-law were there, too. After taking some headshots of Sharon, we began the rest of the shoot was was divided into sections. Family photos were first. Sharon and her family shared a delicious homemade meal together. Then we took a couple of photos of Sharon making paper and a portrait with her letterpress. We then moved onto the closeup shots of the paper. We wrapped up with some photos of Sharon wrapping up some paper as if it were being mailed out for an order.

Overall shoot experience

The experience of working with Emma Natter and Sharon Kopko really helped to shape the experience I give my clients today. I now block out the schedule for shoots, as we did a Sharon’s shoot. I also create mood boards, timelines, and narratives to accompany the client experience to make everything as seamless as possible. It was a marvelous opportunity and I’m so glad I got to work with these talented women.
