Jenny King: Branded Portraits with Houston Brand Photographer Lightbulb League

There’s nothing better than a returning client, and Jenny King is one of our faves. She’s a wedding and boudoir photographer based in Victoria, Texas, and she’s a serious badass. Not only does she photograph weddings herself, but she also runs Ink and Willow, an associate shooter program where her team captures even more love stories in a light and airy style.

From Solo Portraits to a Full Team Session

Jenny first came to us for branded portraits, and from the very first shoot, we knew she was something special. She later returned for a mini session (because let’s be real; one round of brand photos is never enough), and most recently, she brought in her Ink and Willow team for a full-on team branding session. We’ll be showcasing photos from all three of her sessions in this post.

At her most recent session, we focused on capturing both team photos and individual portraits that matched the soft, romantic vibe of the Ink and Willow brand. Every session with Jenny has been different, but the goal has always been the same: to create beautiful, professional, and personality-packed images that help her business stand out.

A Fun & Laid-Back Shoot

Jenny and her team are the kind of people you just want to hang out with, which made this most recent session feel effortless. We put one of our favorite studio session playlists on (90s Songs You Forgot You Loved on Spotify, if you must know). There was so much laughter, a ton of energy, and a whole lot of love for what they do. The photos reflect exactly that; a team that’s not only talented but also incredibly connected and aligned with their brand vision.

Already Counting Down to the Next Session

We’ve loved being part of Jenny’s journey as her brand continues to grow, and every session with her is better than the last. We already can’t wait to see what she comes up with next; and, of course, to get her and her team back in front of our camera again!
